Destiny 2 Sparrow Racing

Description :

Since Bungie doesn't appear to be adding sparrow racing into Destiny 2 anytime soon, we have decided to do it ourselves! It will work pretty much exactly as you can imagine. 4-5 players will line up on the starting line and race around a predetermined track, doing multiple laps and eventually either winning or losing.

How it will work :

Since the map that was voted on takes place on Scourge of the Past, there will be 5 racers and one member of staff. The staff's job is to make sure that racers stay on the route and do not break any rules.

Rules :

- Must remain on sparrow 100% of the time. If sparrow explodes then you may WALK(no jumping) until you are able to spawn your sparrow again, which you must do as soon as you can.

- No false starts. If a false start does occur then racers will line back up and wait for the go.

- If you travel off the track at any point then you must re-enter no farther then you where when you fell off.

-Always on Time

Scoring :

There will be 2 laps, after those laps are completed, placements of the racers will be scored.

1st = 1 point

2nd = 2 points

3rd = 3 points

4th = 4 points

Each racer will participate in multiple races with different racers. After all races are completed the total scores from each race will be added up and the racer with the lowest score wins. If racers are tied then a race consisting of just the tied participants will be held and the winner will be determined based on placements from that race.

Scoring Example :

Player 1 participates in 4 races, getting 1st place in the first one, 3rd place in the second, 1st place in the third, and 2nd place in the fourth. Their total score is 7. So the better you do the lower your score is.
